LG G7 HQ PHONE
With the G6, LG went back to the drawing board to achieve good results. Many journalists and technology critics have praised the change of direction in their reviews of the device. Of course, you would think with the G7 ThinQ that LG would anticipate, build on this basis and generate momentum in terms of mobility.
This review may sound a bit noisy – but stay with me for a while. Yes, considered a standalone product, the LG G7 ThinQ is a Smartphone that is capable of doing the job. In the flagship area, however, this is simply not enough. If you pay more than $1,000 for a Smartphone, you want more than just enough.
As the name suggests, the G7 ThinQ has also been designed to draw attention to LG’s natural language processing platform and the possibilities it seeks in AI. And in theory, it is very exciting. Unfortunately, this LG is in practice a flagship product that is perhaps the least exciting development of what preceded it. In the year when the biggest ambitious high-end devices struggle to justify higher prices than ever, LG does not even try out the ThinQ G7.

Moreover, the visual profile of the LG G7 sometimes seems almost indistinguishable from that of the G6. It has a glass back, an ultra-bright IPS LCD screen and a curved metal frame that holds both halves of this equation together. This is the ‘flagship Smartphone 2018’ with a fingerprint sensor on the back and a slightly rearranged vertical camera configuration.
As mentioned earlier, the largest physical demarcation point in the competition is a new shortcut key on the left side of the device, just below the volume keys. If you press and hold this button, you will immediately receive the Google assistant. Double-click the Wizard button to access the Google target. That is all there is.
As far as the screen is concerned, the G7 ThinQ screen has rarely disappeared. Web pages and applications are both clear and detailed and the video content is particularly interesting. The device has a notch, but if you are not a fan, you can always choose to hide it by blackening the top edges of the screen. The G7 ThinQ is also equipped with a Super Bright switch that you can activate when needed and a permanent display, which is always a welcome addition.
The last thing to mention is the headphone jack. Unlike many other flagship smartphones, LG has retained its 3.5 mm headphone jack. In fact, they doubled the existing functionality by integrating it into a 32-bit HiFi Quad DAC.
